Beware of Financial Scams
Beware of Financial Scams is an event done as an assignment. In this event, the aim is the provide audiences with knowledge regarding the recent events of financial scams by conducting a coffee talk with a guest speaker, dispelling misinformation along with providing accurate information regarding this subject.
In this project, I was tasked with being the moderator and the quiz maker of this event, thus being in close communication with our guest speaker to provide a better event experience for the audience. Mr. Afi, a lecturer and a researcher, was chosen to be our guest speaker because of his research on scammers and subjects relating to financial scams in the past. During the duration of the event, questions regarding the victims of scams and scammers themselves will be answered and recommendations will be given on actions to take if one does fall victim to a financial scam.
